Screen Smart Sam is a must-have for your family’s library at home. Following Sam on his journey of screen time addiction, shows the reader how too much time on devices can be detrimental to a child’s health. Sam began addicted to his phone at an early age and chose to look at his phone in place of sleeping, talking to friends face to face, engaging in physical activity, and being present in the moment. Parents recognize his obsession with his device and choose to become a “Screen Smart Family.” The Author, Nicole Rawson is an expert in Screen Smart Techniques and is the founder of Screen Time Clinic. In this book, she provides families with simple and useful techniques to support families and get them on track to becoming Screen Smart. As a School Psychologist, I am well aware of the dangers of too much screen time on children. Screen Smart Sam is an excellent book that teaches families about the dangers of too much screen time, and it provides tools to support children on how to use screen time more appropriately. I highly recommend this book!

This is a great book to support our kiddos with Social Emotional Learning. It even helps with attendance awareness and so many other issues that aren't commonly talked about in the classroom with respect to screens.

I loved your book because for a while I played video games like Sam did, but now I know video games are ok when played once a week. I also loved your book because I learned that sometimes kids become obsessed with games or their phone. I have a friend that often plays video games, maybe I can tell them about this book. I think your book is educational and amazing. 😊
